Welcome to my World!

My name is Kendra M Gilbert.
I'm an OOAK ( One of a Kind) Polymer Clay Fantasy Art Doll Sculptor, Photographer & Writer.
I'm also a Graphics Artist, owner and co-developer/ designer of FAEBAE.

My Artwork is inspired by my curiosity of the unknown, the Realms that exist between worlds.

I started creating when I was very young, totally infatuated with Unicorns and Pegasus.
My passion for the Realm of Fae came to me a little later in life, but not much later...

My work is meant to inspire others and to bring me joy, not "make a living".

When we put these kinds of worldy holds on our creativity these scars show up on the tiniest of details.
I do not create my artwork for money, you tell me how much it's worth to you by bidding and buying.
I set a price based on the time it takes to complete a piece.
Not by how much I think it's worth, because to me, they are priceless.

My work is done without the use of molds, I do not create any type of molds for casting or duplications.
My work is One of a Kind. Most referred to as "OOAK"

I use very durable wire armatures, I cure my clays at specific manufactured suggested temperatures and times.
I always stress test new clays, mixtures etc to assure that there will be the most minimal possibility for breakage.

My Faerie Wings and Mermaid Fins and Tails are constructed with a unique NO GLUE method that was stumbled upon by my husband.
Our technique is secret, although I offer a tutorial exclusively on FAEBAE from time to time.
This method does not require the "gluing" together of wires.

Our wings and tails are durable, light weight, flexible, posable and highly detailed in ONE PIECE.

My Graphics work includes the websites of some very established artists as well as The Enchanted OOAK and FAEBAE.

I'm working on a collection of short stories that I have written and will be collaborating them together to one day attempt to publish.
The stories have helped the creation of many of my past works such as Majesta, FaeDella, Krickett and Keena.
These can be found in my Gallery of Fantasy Art Dolls.

"Keepers of the Wood" is what I have nicknamed the collective energy that I have come to recognize as the creative force within me.
It also identifies the World in which I see and hear so clearly when I am totally focused, centered and listening.

I dedicate this site to My children, My Loving and Talented Husband, The Universe and all it's Complexities

and last but certainly not least....

The Creative Energy in all things, Seen and Unseen.
